  @Krieger-OG - I don't think I understand what you are asking. Sections no longer exist in 1.6 and above because they have been merged with Categories ( http://docs.joomla.org/What's_new_in_Joomla_1.6#Articles_Manager ). The app does support Categories in all versions of Joomla!, so the JAM user isn't missing any functionality that is available in the Joomla! backend. Does this make sense?

  @Krieger-OG - All the features available in the full iPhone version will be available in the full Android version. The only reason Sections are not available in the app for 1.6 and above (Android or iPhone) is that the Joomla! team has eliminated Sections in the software. Categories can now be nested and go as deep as the user wants (rather than just two levels). Thanks for being one of our first Android users!   So I have the free Android app and love it. This is long overdue. Real quick question. Will the paid version have all the same features as the iphone version. I noticed that under the features list under "sections" it says 1.5 only. Does that mean that anything from the sections category and below are only useable on 1.5? If so when will all those features be available for 1.6 and up.

  We are so close I can taste it!

  There are a few things I want to wrap up before releasing because I want to provide all of you wonderful users with the best product available. I do want to get you something as soon as possible, though, because you have been so patient. I will let you know the second I submit it to the store.

  I just went and did a quick Google search and distributing test builds of Android apps seems much easier than Apple iOS apps. If anyone would be interested in trying out the current development version that we are working on, feel free to contact me at support@covertapps.com. This will be a BETA version, though, so it should NOT be used in production environments.

  We have most of the basic functionality complete. We just have a few more tasks to wrap up. Our goal is to have something we can submit by the end of the month (next Friday). This is the first Android app I have submitted, so I'm not sure how long it takes for them to process it for the store. Once I submit it to Google, I will let you all know. Thanks so much for your patience! Sorry I haven't given updates until now.
